Being Anti-War Is Bad
So Says the Liberal "Democratic" Media
Did you know that it’s bad to try and stop a murderous war of attrition?
Consider this headline today from the “liberal” British Guardian:

Isn’t that horrifying! J.D. Vance, Trump’s choice as his VP, might pursue diplomacy with Russia and Ukraine with the goal of ending the war there. Naturally, this is “terrible news” for Ukraine. I guess “good” news is defined here as unending war and bloodshed until Ukraine wins or collapses from the strain of fighting against a country far larger than itself and with superior resources.
And what is wrong, exactly, with an “America first” foreign policy? Shouldn’t our nation’s foreign policy focus on putting America first? What, precisely, is wise about sending roughly $175 billion in weapons and aid to Ukraine so that Russians and Ukrainians can die in large numbers? What is smart about funding a global empire that consumes a trillion dollars a year for its “defense” and which routinely leads to calamitous wars that America loses?
The Democratic Party’s embrace of endless war is another reason why it’s fated to lose, and lose big, in November.
Think of the billions of dollars at stake here. If the Ukraine gravy train chugs off into history, many corporation's hot revenue streams will fade away with it. For the oligarchs who set up those revenue streams, that is akin to the end of the world. The pressure on Trump and Vance will be astronomical and will come with some carrots, and lots of sticks. So, as other's have pointed out, maybe they will just send the gravy train to Iran, or the South China Sea. Still, everyone knows that going after Iran or China will not turn out well for the US or the world, so there is going to be a lot of yelling and screaming at the White House when Trump gets back in.
What angers me most about U.S. foreign policy is that the bastards who push us into war will send other people's children out to the front lines to be cannon fodder so they can reap the rewards, but they will never put themselves or their loved ones in harm's way.
It's time to put uniforms on those chicken-hawks and send them to the front.
