"Order Must Prevail"
Biden denounces violence, destruction, and hate, but only in America
President Biden read a short statement today in which he stated “order must prevail” across America. Sometimes squinting at the teleprompter and occasionally slurring his words, Biden said there’s no place for violence, destruction, and hate in America. Apparently, there is a place for violence, destruction, and hate in Gaza, as his administration continues to send more bullets and bombs to Israel in its war of annihilation there, but no matter.

The best part of Biden’s statement came at the end, when he was asked if student protests had changed his mind at all. “No,” Biden replied.
Who says Joe Biden can’t speak simply, clearly, and honestly?
An important point I was reminded of as I read Helen Benedict at TomDispatch today is how campus protests and coverage of the same in the U.S. is being used to obscure ongoing mass death and suffering in Gaza. The mainstream media here loves a good domestic “law and order” issue featuring controversy and (limited) violence, but forget about honest coverage of massive destruction in Gaza and mass murder of Palestinians.
In sum, Biden has always been a law and order man, with an emphasis on order, boasting of using police and prisons for social control. So his stance today was totally predictable—and totally retrograde and unproductive.
Biden, who in 2018 confessed he had no empathy for youth today and their complaints about tough times, is certainly showing that he indeed has no empathy for them.

Mr. Biden and too many college administrators have fallen into the trap. Same trap as the right wing set or took advantage of during the 1960's and early '70's.
US military and CIA and US allies doing atrocious things, people complain, students and professors protest and police attack, creating turmoil and calls for order. Are the calls for order for the police to maintain order of their own officers? No. The calls are for people to maintain order over the youth and some older people sympathizing with the youth.
Only thing we are missing today seems to be none or few are saying it must be communist agitators urging these student on.
J. Edger Hoover and Fighting Joe McCarthy must be raising whiskey bottles in their graves, drinking toasts to each other and laughing at us all.
Will Fighting Joe Biden call his next press conference to tell us that the FBI and the CIA have now informed him that Hamas terrorists are now known to be infiltrating Palestinian groups across America and that all Palestinians will be moved, for their self protection, to vacant special camps we used for self protection of all our Japanese citizens and immigrants during WWII?
America is in a mess and neither Trump nor Biden are mentally fit to lead. Not do to their age tho both are like punch drunk boxers but do the inability to listen and help us think and act to get out of this mess we are all in.
1. Climate Warming may or may not be terminal for the health of our planet and we/they do little about this disaster.
2. Nuclear War is edging closer by the leaders of the nuclear powers, by high tech that can be unstable, and by human errors. Nuclear disarmament is NOT to be considered by Real Men.
3. Forever Wars are getting enormously costly e.g. shooting down a drone costs the US military on average $10,000 a shot and sometime over a $1 million a shot and the DOD is asking for an extra billion dollars to replace what our military has spent shooting down cheap drones in the Red Sea. Our soldiers are being wasted on never ending wars many times agitated for by our CIA and D. of State actions, while the public schools and transportation systems are being starved for money and our union suppressed, responsible media organizations disappear, and the super rich and large corporations are permitted NOT to pay their fair share.
We have been lead into this situation for decades by Republican and Democratic administrations and Congresses.
The charade call the 2024 presidential elections needs to be called as a bluff. We, as citizens of all parties, must demand new candidates to select from.
Something like this must happen or I, for one, fear the worst.

the adults in the room are certaininly not be found in the chambers of Congress. They will be found on the common greens of our universities and colleges and the many streets around the world protesting the attrocities being committed on the Palestinians dyspora prisoned in Gaza or living as refuges in the surround of the apartheid state of Isreal. The current state of Isreal should be condemned/shunned/sanctioned until they make peace with those they displaced from their lands their homes their communities. Love thy neighbors Isreal and in return they will love you.
