* Isn’t it amazing how the Pentagon can fail six audits in a row and see its budget continue to soar? Next year’s defense war budget is nearly $900 billion, or as much as the next ten countries in the world combined. War and weapons spending continues to enjoy strong bipartisan support in Congress. Looks like Republicans and Democrats can work together in harmony.
* The Biden administration continues to say it’s committed to a two-state solution in the Middle East when it’s obvious Israel is committed to a no-state solution, as in no Palestine (and very few Palestinians). Gaza is being obliterated, the Palestinians there most likely being pushed out (using the most violent means) over time. Meanwhile, the West Bank is slowly being colonized with Jewish “settlers” as the Palestinians there are also pushed out. I guess Israel just needs more Lebensraum (living space).
* Curious that the Biden administration believes it has any leverage over Israel when it continues to shovel money and weaponry there without setting any conditions.
