Remember when Joe Biden said the answer wasn’t to defund the police, but to fund them further? Remember when he also said that show me your budget and I’ll tell you what you value?
Well, police forces are fully funded, and they’re doing what their masters are telling them to do: making lots of arrests. So far, the Biden administrations is applauding these arrests as stamping out alleged anti-Semitism on campuses across America. Never mind that what’s truly motivating these protests is immoral and indefensible U.S. government support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Considering Biden’s budget, the nearly-trillion-dollar Pentagon budget and especially the $95 billion supplemental mainly for Ukraine and Israel, he obviously values keeping the military-industrial-congressional complex humming along at full speed while appeasing Israel’s hardliners and powerful lobbies like AIPAC.
Lots of Americans arrested in the “homeland” and a lot more body bags overseas. Mission accomplished, Joe.
