And how many Americans are actually employed building these weapons? And honestly I don't care to know the number of engineers, I mean how many working class jobs are really from making weapons? I've lived in 7 different stages and never heard of a weapons factory nearby at any of those residences.

Then I decided on brevity... leaving an incomplete thought.
I read an article in Axios this morning that behind the scenes, those in the White House are rattled to the core; there's fear all the separate crises could merge into one. And yet, instead of leading efforts for negotiations and peace, Franklin Delano Biden (at least his self image) is pushing "the arsenal of democracy"; I question whether the man is aware of anything more than what his handlers tell him.
While I hope the House in Congress doesn't choose a Speaker for months and remains unable to move legislation, the arms industry and Israeli lobbyists will soon be heard from demanding the House members gets their acts together and vote for more war. Therefore, the only option available to us is to write our Senators and Representatives, and tell them if they vote for this spending bill, we will each vote for their opponents in the next election - no matter the party. It's not much but it's all we have.
