Joe Biden Pardons Son, Hunter
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter, for all activities covering the period from January 1, 2014 to December 1, 2024, inclusive. What a sweeping “get out of jail free” card!
Nothing screams working-class-friend Joe than pardoning one’s son for all his questionable activities, whether with drugs, firearms, Ukraine, or China, while vacationing on Nantucket over Thanksgiving Break.
Of course, Joe was on the record many times swearing he’d never pardon Hunter. He said he trusted the justice system and respected the outcome of jury trials. Reminds me of the old quip, How can you tell a politician is lying? His lips are moving.
So what’s the good, the bad, and the ugly here?
I guess the good is that we won’t have four years of Hunter-gate. I’m already tired of Hunter, his addictions, his poor decisions, his sob stories, even his overpriced art work, and I haven’t even followed the stories that closely. In this time of great peril (nuclear war, anyone?), it might be a good thing to forget about Hunter.
The bad is obvious. We’ll never get a full accounting of what Hunter was up to with respect to China and Ukraine. How much was Hunter peddling influence for foreign entities, how much did he earn, and how much was Joe Biden involved, the so-called Big Guy? Time to sweep all that under the rug, I guess.
The ugly: Biden and the Democrats were and are at pains to take the high road against Trump, contrasting their “respect for the law” versus Trump’s alleged lawlessness. Only the most partisan can think the blue team is much better than the red team after this latest act by President Joe.
Readers, what do you think? Good, bad, ugly, or all three?

I wish people were as stirred up about nuclear annihilation (and $2 trillion more for future nukes) as they are about Hunter's pardon.
The interesting will be to see if Biden pardons himself before he leaves office - which would prove two things.
The first is that Joe Biden is a narcissistic grifter who will never pay for all the crimes he committed over his lifetime while in office, including sponsoring crime bills that put minorities into jail, and supporting wars that send other people's children to die.
The other thing is that national politics is hopelessly corrupt and there is zero difference between the two corporate parties. The Bastille needs to be stormed and the guillotine needs to be brought out.
