What if on every ballot for every federal election there was also a designated spot for “None Of These Candidates”?
This presents the argument that “None Of These Candidates” should be on every ballot of every federal election, and proposes a nation-wide campaign to give the American Voters a real Alternative to ~ and an actual Antidote for ~ what America’s Ruling Political Class is and will be giving them for so-called, alleged “Choices” in 2024.
The best alternative to, antidote for, and action against the “Choices” that America’s Ruling Political Class is offering Voters in 2024 is NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES [NOTC].
Casting one’s vote for any of the 3rd, 4th, or 5th Party candidates will accomplish nothing except give the individual Voter the satisfaction of having voted in accordance with her or his conscience. It will have no impact whatsoever on whether Trump or Biden gets elected.
But if all those contemplating voting 3rd, 4th, or 5th party voted instead for NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES, it could have an impact. Certainly more than scattered votes for the different alternative candidates.
And if all those Voters ~ who have nobody to vote FOR in the election, and only Trump or Biden as who they are going to vote AGAINST being the next President by voting for the other guy, the so-called “lesser of two evils” ~ if all of those Voters voted NOTC, it could have an impact, as well.
And finally, if all those Voters ~ who are fed up enough with American politics to not vote for or against anybody, and not vote at all ~ if all those Voters had the opportunity to vote for NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES as an alternative to Not Voting, it could also have an impact. [Note: In 2016, 38.6% of all Registered Voters did not vote for anybody to be the next President; in 2020, 33.3% did not vote for anybody for POTUS,]
Done in sufficient numbers all across the nation, a strong showing by NOTC would send a very loud and clear message ~ a shot across the bow, as it were ~ to that Ruling Political Class that its time of unbridled, unchallenged, and unchallengeable political power is over.
And that having to choose between “the lesser of two evils” is really nothing but a thinly disguised version of “the evil of two lessers.” And is no longer an acceptable option.
So the Question becomes: How would one vote for NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES and actually make a difference?
One very obvious option would be to organize and launch a national, 50-State wide campaign to get Voters to write-in “None Of These Candidates.”
An alternative to writing-in NOTC would be mandating by State-established process and procedure [legislative action, voter referendum, etc] that NOTC be available as a choice on all ballots for all federal elections held in that State.
Either and/or both of these things could happen very easily if a critical mass of conscientious, concerned, and committed Citizens determined to make exactly that happen in their State in plenty of time for Election2024; particularly in those states with US Senate elections.

Everybody knows who Israel is getting its weapons of war from.
But who is supplying Hamas and how are those weapons getting to them? Also, who is supplying Hamas with food and medical supplies, and how are those things getting to them?
My guess, Jeff, is that Hamas had caches of weapons and supplies hidden or stored in the tunnel networks. Hamas also relies on weapons and supplies captured from the Israelis. I don't think much in the way of fresh supplies have come to Gaza since October.
That’s a pretty good guess, Bill. That must have been quite a cache to be able to wage a war for this long, eh? Especially after all those tunnels have been found, cleared, and destroyed.
Which makes one wonder: How long had Hamas been preparing for October 7, and how long did they expect Israel’s reaction and response to last?
And of course there’s the Question of how did they pull off October 7 without Israel [or the US] ~ with its world-famous intelligence capability and capacity ~ knowing about it beforehand? At this stage, i am completely convinced that both Israel and the US KNEW that October 7 was going to happen, and in fact, welcomed it and LET it happen. Sort of like the US knew that 9/11 was going to happen, welcomed it, and let ~ or more likely, made ~ that happen, as well.
And re weapons and supplies captured from Israel: A Google Hunt and Gather reveals that back on January 29, the New York Times ran the following article: “Where Is Hamas Getting Its Weapons? Increasingly, From Israel,” subtitled “The very weapons that Israeli forces have used to enforce a blockade of Gaza are now being used against them.”
Given that Americans have never voted a War-Time President out of office, it looks like Biden’s main strategy for re-election is to have not one, not two, but THREE wars he is Commander-In-Chiefing come November 5: Ukraine, Palestine, and China…:

Financial Times has reported that the US and Japan will announce the most significant restructuring of their military alliance since the 1960s when Biden hosts Kishida at the White House on April 10. The trilateral summit is scheduled to be held on April 11.

This Easter in the United States of America, rather than an occupying one, we face a government that has grown more and more oppressive daily – through extraordinary abuses of the legal system, unprecedented assaults on the right to free speech, and the ongoing exploitation of the coronavirus crisis to push ill-tested drugs upon the population, destroy the fabric of family and community life, and further degrade our civil liberties.
Thomas Jefferson is often attributed for having said, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” That does not only mean we should be prepared to defend against foreign invaders. Perhaps more importantly IT MEANS WE MUST RETAIN THE LESSONS FROM THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN AND IRISH REVOLTS AND GUARD AGAINST A GOVERNMENT THAT VIEWS THE PEOPLE AS THE ENEMY.
Just a few years ago, Americans were told they must not gather in groups and should stay home on Sunday. Churches and businesses were closed or faced capacity limitations because the government deemed them “non-essential.” [Note: While Health Spas and Churches were closed, Liquor and Marijuana stores stayed open as “essential.”]
Many were destroyed for good. Those who spoke out were smeared in the media, those who perpetrated these acts of tyranny were unpunished, and the legal machinery to do it again is still intact and ready to be revved back up.
One hundred years ago, a young writer Randolph Bourne said, “WAR IS THE HEALTH OF THE STATE,” and he lamented governments' success at taking authority and resources during conflict. But Bourne further explained, “IF THE STATE'S CHIEF FUNCTION IS WAR, THEN THE STATE MUST SUCK OUT OF THE NATION A LARGE PART OF ITS ENERGY FOR ITS PURELY STERILE PURPOSES OF DEFENSE AND AGGRESSION. IT DEVOTES TO WASTE OR TO ACTUAL DESTRUCTION AS MUCH AS IT CAN OF THE VITALITY OF THE NATION.”
What we face today is not against foreign enemies, but rather against our own government as they seek more and more power, and as they suck out the vitality of our citizens.

It appears that Israeli politics in 2024 is as screwed up as American politics. And there is something almost totally obscene about a sect of Israeli Jews refusing to serve in Israel’s military NOT on the grounds of Conscientious Objection to War and Military Service, but because they are “preserving Judaism” by being students in a religious school.

jg, I think it's pretty obvious by now that the Israelis - a political entity, rather removed from the Biblical Israelites and Children of Israel - consider everything up to and including a change of wind direction an existential threat. Nary a mention of "still waiting on the Messiah" in regard to Israel. Or perhaps they think he's returned but is being held captive by Hamas.

THOUSANDS OF ISRAELI PROTESTERS DEMAND NETANYAHU'S REMOVAL by Ehren Wynder / UPI 31 Mar 24
March 31 (UPI) -- Protests erupted across Israel over the weekend with tens of thousands of Israelis calling for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's removal.
Demonstrators on Saturday rallied in front of the Israel Defense Force headquarters in Tel Aviv in the biggest protest against Netanyahu since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.
Saturday protests also happened in Jerusalem, Haifa, Be'er Sheva, Caesarea and other cities, with one outside of the Knesset in Jerusalem on Sunday.
Police on Saturday met protesters with water cannons and arrested 16 people.
The demonstrations were motivated partly by families of Hamas hostages who said they believe Netanyahu is prioritizing his political survival over putting a swift end to Hamas.
Shira Albag, the mother of one of the hostages, told the Guardian, "the people of Israel won't forget or forgive anyone who prevents a deal that would bring them [the hostages] back to us.
"After 176 days, 4,224 hours, the excuses have run out."
Netanyahu has sparred with members of the Israeli war cabinet and his own party over his handling of hostage negotiations. While advisers urged more flexibility to get a deal across, Netanyahu has rejected the proposals as being too soft on Hamas.
Many protestors also were there to speak out against Netanyahu's attempt to bypass the Israeli High Court's decision Thursday to freeze funding to ultra-Orthodox Haredi Jewish schools, effectively making students eligible for the draft.
Netanyahu has sought to extend the deadline of Haredi exemption, which the government passed in June 2023 while it deliberates on new draft legislation.
Haredis have historically, and controversially, been exempt from military service, which is mandatory for most other Israeli citizens once they turn 18.
Scores of IDF reservists on Sunday staged a protest in the Haredi neighborhood of Mea Shearim calling for their conscription and chanting "I believe, I believe, I believe in enlisting in the military."
Protests against Netanyahu's administration have risen in intensity since Oct. 7, but the government was highly unpopular even before the war.
He has drawn criticism for his previous attempt to undermine the independence of the judiciary, as well as allegations of corruption and bribery.

The report ~ ““Rebuilding America’s Defenses, Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century” ~ which suggested billions more in the Pentagon budget annually for reimagining military capabilities across the forces, including nuclear and space, was based in part on the Defense Policy Guidance, crafted by Paul Wolfowitz and Dick Cheney during the George H. W. Bush Administration “for maintaining U.S. preeminence, precluding the rise of a great power rival, and shaping the international security order in line with American principles and interests.”
On page 51 of that report, was the following statement:
“Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, ABSENT SOME CATASTROPHIC AND CATALYZING EVENT – LIKE A NEW PEARL HARBOR.” [EMPHASIS added.]
PNAC, which was founded by Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan and had been actively lobbying to remove Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein from power, got its “new Pearl Harbor” a year later. The Zionists take a long view of history, understanding that all the outrage and backlash they’re facing over Gaza right now will one day be irrelevant if they can carry out their plan for the territory today. They know that future generations of Israeli settlers will be able to say “Sure there was an ethnic cleansing in Gaza and a bunch of mass atrocities were committed, but that all happened before I was born; I had nothing to do with it. What do you want me to do, give up the home I’ve lived in all my life? That’s nuts.”
And they’re absolutely right: if Israel succeeds in driving the Palestinians out of Gaza (and assuming humanity doesn’t destroy itself via nuclear armageddon or environmental collapse), that is exactly the future they can expect to have. The genocidal atrocities against the Palestinians will be something kids learn about in history class. Israel itself might even be able to be a lot more honest about what happened, once the Palestinian problem has been fully resolved and the threat of a Palestinian state no longer exists.
So they do what they need to do in the meantime, with the understanding that this will one day all be rubbed away by the sands of time. They commit what atrocities they need to commit, they lie in whatever ways they need to lie, and they exert influence wherever they need to exert influence until they can get this thing locked down. Once they have, they can sit back and let old father time do the rest of the work for them.
THAT’S WHY IT’S SO IMPORTANT TO OPPOSE THIS THING NOW: BECAUSE ONCE PALESTINE IS ERASED, IT’S HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT IT CAN EVER BE RESTORED. As it stands right now, in every federal election to be held in 2024, Americans will have five choices. They will be able to:

* Vote Third [Fourth, Fifth, etc] Party.
* Write-In Somebody/Anybody.
* Not Vote.
What if there was a Sixth Choice?
What if there was a Sixth Choice that demanded additional choices be offered? And then Voters made that Choice by being able to vote for it?
What if on every ballot for every federal election there was also a designated spot for “None Of These Candidates”?
This presents the argument that “None Of These Candidates” should be on every ballot of every federal election, and proposes a nation-wide campaign to give the American Voters a real Alternative to ~ and an actual Antidote for ~ what America’s Ruling Political Class is and will be giving them for so-called, alleged “Choices” in 2024.
The best alternative to, antidote for, and action against the “Choices” that America’s Ruling Political Class is offering Voters in 2024 is NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES [NOTC].
Casting one’s vote for any of the 3rd, 4th, or 5th Party candidates will accomplish nothing except give the individual Voter the satisfaction of having voted in accordance with her or his conscience. It will have no impact whatsoever on whether Trump or Biden gets elected.
But if all those contemplating voting 3rd, 4th, or 5th party voted instead for NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES, it could have an impact. Certainly more than scattered votes for the different alternative candidates.
And if all those Voters ~ who have nobody to vote FOR in the election, and only Trump or Biden as who they are going to vote AGAINST being the next President by voting for the other guy, the so-called “lesser of two evils” ~ if all of those Voters voted NOTC, it could have an impact, as well.
And finally, if all those Voters ~ who are fed up enough with American politics to not vote for or against anybody, and not vote at all ~ if all those Voters had the opportunity to vote for NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES as an alternative to Not Voting, it could also have an impact. [Note: In 2016, 38.6% of all Registered Voters did not vote for anybody to be the next President; in 2020, 33.3% did not vote for anybody for POTUS,]
Done in sufficient numbers all across the nation, a strong showing by NOTC would send a very loud and clear message ~ a shot across the bow, as it were ~ to that Ruling Political Class that its time of unbridled, unchallenged, and unchallengeable political power is over.
And that having to choose between “the lesser of two evils” is really nothing but a thinly disguised version of “the evil of two lessers.” And is no longer an acceptable option.
So the Question becomes: How would one vote for NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES and actually make a difference?
One very obvious option would be to organize and launch a national, 50-State wide campaign to get Voters to write-in “None Of These Candidates.”
An alternative to writing-in NOTC would be mandating by State-established process and procedure [legislative action, voter referendum, etc] that NOTC be available as a choice on all ballots for all federal elections held in that State.
Either and/or both of these things could happen very easily if a critical mass of conscientious, concerned, and committed Citizens determined to make exactly that happen in their State in plenty of time for Election2024; particularly in those states with US Senate elections.

Everybody knows who Israel is getting its weapons of war from.
But who is supplying Hamas and how are those weapons getting to them? Also, who is supplying Hamas with food and medical supplies, and how are those things getting to them?
Anybody have any ideas?
My guess, Jeff, is that Hamas had caches of weapons and supplies hidden or stored in the tunnel networks. Hamas also relies on weapons and supplies captured from the Israelis. I don't think much in the way of fresh supplies have come to Gaza since October.
That’s a pretty good guess, Bill. That must have been quite a cache to be able to wage a war for this long, eh? Especially after all those tunnels have been found, cleared, and destroyed.
Which makes one wonder: How long had Hamas been preparing for October 7, and how long did they expect Israel’s reaction and response to last?
And of course there’s the Question of how did they pull off October 7 without Israel [or the US] ~ with its world-famous intelligence capability and capacity ~ knowing about it beforehand? At this stage, i am completely convinced that both Israel and the US KNEW that October 7 was going to happen, and in fact, welcomed it and LET it happen. Sort of like the US knew that 9/11 was going to happen, welcomed it, and let ~ or more likely, made ~ that happen, as well.
And re weapons and supplies captured from Israel: A Google Hunt and Gather reveals that back on January 29, the New York Times ran the following article: “Where Is Hamas Getting Its Weapons? And there is something almost totally obscene about a sect of Israeli Jews refusing to serve in Israel’s military NOT on the grounds of Conscientious Objection to War and Military Service, but because they are “preserving Judaism” by being students in a religious school.

“WHAT IS AT STAKE FOR NETANYAHU?

THOUSANDS OF ISRAELI PROTESTERS DEMAND NETANYAHU'S REMOVAL by Ehren Wynder / UPI 31 Mar 24
March 31 (UPI) -- Protests erupted across Israel over the weekend with tens of thousands of Israelis calling for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's removal.
Demonstrators on Saturday rallied in front of the Israel Defense Force headquarters in Tel Aviv in the biggest protest against Netanyahu since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.
Saturday protests also happened in Jerusalem, Haifa, Be'er Sheva, Caesarea and other cities, with one outside of the Knesset in Jerusalem on Sunday.
Police on Saturday met protesters with water cannons and arrested 16 people.
The demonstrations were motivated partly by families of Hamas hostages who said they believe Netanyahu is prioritizing his political survival over putting a swift end to Hamas.
Shira Albag, the mother of one of the hostages, told the Guardian, "the people of Israel won't forget or forgive anyone who prevents a deal that would bring them [the hostages] back to us.
"After 176 days, 4,224 hours, the excuses have run out."
Netanyahu has sparred with members of the Israeli war cabinet and his own party over his handling of hostage negotiations. While advisers urged more flexibility to get a deal across, Netanyahu has rejected the proposals as being too soft on Hamas.
Many protestors also were there to speak out against Netanyahu's attempt to bypass the Israeli High Court's decision Thursday to freeze funding to ultra-Orthodox Haredi Jewish schools, effectively making students eligible for the draft.
Netanyahu has sought to extend the deadline of Haredi exemption, which the government passed in June 2023 while it deliberates on new draft legislation.
Haredis have historically, and controversially, been exempt from military service, which is mandatory for most other Israeli citizens once they turn 18.
Scores of IDF reservists on Sunday staged a protest in the Haredi neighborhood of Mea Shearim calling for their conscription and chanting "I believe, I believe, I believe in enlisting in the military."
Protests against Netanyahu's administration have risen in intensity since Oct. 7, but the government was highly unpopular even before the war.
He has drawn criticism for his previous attempt to undermine the independence of the judiciary, as well as allegations of corruption and bribery.

The Zionists take a long view of history, understanding that all the outrage and backlash they’re facing over Gaza right now will one day be irrelevant if they can carry out their plan for the territory today. They know that future generations of Israeli settlers will be able to say “Sure there was an ethnic cleansing in Gaza and a bunch of mass atrocities were committed, but that all happened before I was born; I had nothing to do with it. What do you want me to do, give up the home I’ve lived in all my life? That’s nuts.”
And they’re absolutely right: if Israel succeeds in driving the Palestinians out of Gaza (and assuming humanity doesn’t destroy itself via nuclear armageddon or environmental collapse), that is exactly the future they can expect to have. The genocidal atrocities against the Palestinians will be something kids learn about in history class. Israel itself might even be able to be a lot more honest about what happened, once the Palestinian problem has been fully resolved and the threat of a Palestinian state no longer exists.
So they do what they need to do in the meantime, with the understanding that this will one day all be rubbed away by the sands of time. They commit what atrocities they need to commit, they lie in whatever ways they need to lie, and they exert influence wherever they need to exert influence until they can get this thing locked down. Once they have, they can sit back and let old father time do the rest of the work for them.
THAT’S WHY IT’S SO IMPORTANT TO OPPOSE THIS THING NOW: BECAUSE ONCE PALESTINE IS ERASED, IT’S HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT IT CAN EVER BE RESTORED.
