Things are going poorly for the Biden administration, the US and Europe and that is one bit of good news. It might mean that Biden is forced to back off rather than continue the escalation. The latest rumor is that MSNBC might go up for sale, considering their very poor performance and dismal viewership. The edifice is cracking. Soon, the rats may be jumping ship. Let's hope that Biden goes out with a whimper instead of a bang.

I think the people should minimally know if Biden is sentient enough to be POTUS. He should be evaluated by a team of physicians to determine his mental acumen. If he fails than Harris should hold the position til January next year. Congress should insist on this devaluation of Bisden's mental health. I don't expect any fiffetrmcr in policy but for the purposes of preserving and honoring the office and the Constitution our POTUS should/MUST be mentally alert.

Biden is bringing us to the brink of nuclear Armageddon and for what. He and his team (including the deep state) are mentally imcompetent. I say: of with their -demented- head

POTUS does not make major decisions on matters like war and peace singlehandedly. Thank goodness! The world survived two brain-dead US Presidents--a certain Reagan and a certain G. Dubya Bush. They did a lot of damage, but we are still here. The threat to humanity's ability to survive going forward is from the Deep State and ITS machinations on behalf of the US Ruling Class. I don't hesitate to speak of the Deep State just because Trump is fond of bandying the phrase about. Let's see The Donald truly challenge that power! He won't like the outcome.

I wish I could only blame the Biden administration, but alas, Republicans, Democrats and the yapping Chihuahuas of Europe live in a swamp of their own lies and delusions. Surely by now, the "lessons learned," apparent to the world include: 1) the Russian military and economy was no paper tiger; 2) the "return on investment" for what Russia spends on weaponry makes the US MIC look absolutely corrupt and pathetic; 3) betting on the Russian people turning on President Putin speaks volumes to not knowing your "enemy;" 4) the narrative of the West is the only thing that matters--there is zero concern for Ukrainian lives, a peaceful resolution or accountability for the wars disastrous outcomes; and 5) not even the greatest humiliations will ever humble these hubristic monsters.

The whole "we're fighting them so they could turn on their leaders" is just a bunch of BS only said to rationalize bombings. Consider that in WW II, most large German cities were demolished and the people didn't turn on Hitler. Japanese cities got firebombed and even nuked and the people didn't turn on their leaders.

Biden always seemed to me to be a nasty man. I guess he's even more nasty now that his party has kicked him out of office. But he could have exited gracefully. He could have said a year ago that he was feeling poorly and had decided not to run for re-election. But, no, he instead decided that, as he said, "running the country" was just too much to resist. "Pride goes before the fall." I just hope his fall doesn't reduce the rest of us to radioactive cinders.

As you write, if only this money had been put towards helping people instead of killing people. You mention the weapons of WWl; I, too, was thinking about the comparison between the hundreds of thousands KIA in Ukraine in relation to the decimation of young males in WWl and how that impacted the lives of females and families and the labor force. I feel for the Ukrainian citizens who have been thrust into this situation due to the US and the UK hopes for the proxy war that never materialized.

Agreed.

Except you're forgetting the money transferred into private accounts from the billions we sent to Ukraine to fund a losing war. Why do we suppose politicians get so rich?

Besides continuing to support our Military Industrial Complex, we know our neo-cons get rich off this killing.

We are about to have a POPULIST head of State.

This may be the only opportunity we get to change some of this graft and corruption AND stop the wars and killing as well.

Let's do it America!!!

How fitting, given the rest of the Biden administration and how it pushed legal and moral limits on things like student loans, Pride flags, and trans genders on the White House lawn or one on one meetings with the president, that it would now try to hang a war that was designed to create regime change in Moscow around an incoming president's neck. The House should commence impeachment proceedings immediately and demand that Blinken, Sullivan, and the Pentagon show up for congressional hearings.

A waste of time! Politicians messing with other politicians for your entertainment pleasure.

Nothing like playing Russian Roulette with a semi-automatic! When the full correlation of all forces involved in fighting a war are considered, that's what the USA is doing.

The echoes of July/August 1914 are terrifying. I don't think we get out of this without some decisive action or statement from US "leadership"; hope of drifting along to end of this demented insane administration without an accident or intended action seems unlikely.

Perhaps a first action might be Austin firing Admiral Buchanan (and his boss who allowed it) from US Strategic Command who spoke recklessly about fighting.a nuclear war. Because at this point, I have no idea who is actually in charge in the White House. And I'm guessing the Russians don't either - and that should scare the Hell out of everyone.

Yep, but the Russians know who's coming in January. And, they know he's saner than anyone seems to think.

He makes a deal instead of WAR. That's sanity in 2025.

Martha, hopefully that's true. If nothing else, Trump would at least talk with Putin.

My biggest fear is not deliberate escalation, but one of a false sensor alert that makes Russia thinks its under attack from NATO missiles launched from Central and Eastern Europe. Unlike Able Archer 83, when Colonel Petrov dismissed a single ICBM missile alert as a sensor failure, no Russian watch officer would ignore an alert now, given the rhetoric from NATO "leaders". The escalation ladder could be very swift and unstoppable.

Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate discuss new ICC warrants for Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and the Biden admin's decision to authorize long range Ukrainian strikes into Russia. They will then be joined live from Beirut by Amb. Craig Murray to cover Israel's continuing assault on Lebanon.

The 2-1/2 hour broadcast covers many different topics of interest to most visitors to BV, from the ICC Arrest Warrants to the Skirpal False Flag poisonings.

Ambassador Craig Murray reporting from Lebanon, fills in all the SINS OF OMISSION in the US MSM coverage of the Israeli War on Lebanon following the Gaza playbook.

Very informative and well worth watching!

There is no cure for dumbness. Every „bullet“ the U.S. and NATO countries have supplied have turned out to be of no help to the Zelensky regime. Who, in their right mind, thinks that this not really new permission would be of any help for the crumbling Ukrainian military. On the other hand, it is a wonderful gift to the western MIC establishment. The welfare of the western common folk is, as always, of no concern to these people who have enriched themselves while the Ukrainian common people were and are slaughtered.

It would be interesting to see if Republicans impeached Biden for illegal sales of weapons being used against civilian targets. Needless to say it won't happen because most of the Republican Representatives are complicit in the crime.

Putin seems to be waiting for Trump so they can sanely settle this. Biden (or who really knows) is dumping money in for the Democrats' kickbacks. Ukraine is the big loser. So many killed, so much destruction.

It would be nice to stop the killing until we get Trump and Putin to the table.

Correction to the photo. There are actually five bullets and one empty chamber. It's not just "living dangerously". It's a death wish. Biden wants to take everyone with him into the hereafter.

The primary US goal in foisting this war on European soil was surely to test Russia's real-world military prowess (they're not doing real impressively, frankly) and to BLEED Russian personnel and resources. That cretin currently running the War Dept.--he's not even a competent public speaker!--pretty much let that slip out of his mouth many many months ago. And this guy was rushed into confirmation without the "required" (?) passage of time from being in uniform to being a "civilian." Good job, Mr. Biden!
