I saw this AM in the NYT that Bret Stephens posted his take, "A Vague, Vacuous TV Interview Didn't Help Kamala Harris." I don't subscribe so I couldn't read it, but it was an interesting title coming from him. I would say with the high-spirited convention over, she's peaked. It will be a slosh of word salads and Trumpisms from here onward.

Sure seems that way.

Two empty suits who will be rewarded “lucratively”, win or lose. The irony is that the same is happening in Europe. No one in the political seems to have any intellectual or ethical/moral integrity. Western democracy is being devoured by a political cancer. What are western values these days?

I'm sorry Karl, Donald Trump is not an empty suit.

You don't get to be New Yorks most successful Real Estate tycoon by being dumb.

He got the most repressive part of Obamacare repealed. The mandate. People who couldn’t afford to tithe to the insurance companies were punished by the IRS ~ the most blatant example of the government allying with corporations. What Mussolini called “fascism”.

He also signed an Executive Order requiring that ALL medical costs must be transparent. Which would have saved consumers millions. And going a long way to driving down America's shameful medical bankruptcies. Biden/Harris, Schummer, Pelosi et al were all lobbied...eerr.. bribed into not enforcing it. You still can't comparison shop the price of getting your heart stent or an MRI. Or even have a clue what the price is going to be. Like you would in buying a family car.

Pure "extortion" by any other name and a license to steal! Why the US's consumer medical costs are TWICE that of other countries like New Zealand. And New Zealand (and Cuba!) has better health outcomes! Obamacare was, and is, just another Insurance Company scam.

Tearing up the TPP, the pre-WHO attempt by corporations to dispense with national governments as a mechanism to extort citizens to pay fines to corporations who are awarded” damages” by secret courts ~ was also a blow to the globalists.

He signed an Executive Order to stop schools from letting boys into the girls’ locker rooms and sports ~ which Biden tore up as his first act in office.

So, give him credit where credit is due. He wanted to drop charges against Assange, but the Deep Stated put too much pressure on him. He caved. There was no excuse for Soleimani, but he did do a few things to make life better for some Americans.

Take care my friend.

I didn’t mention Trump in my response to Bill’s post. I was responding to the Harris Walz CNN interview. You maybe impressed by Trump, I am not. If I recall correctly (from whatever I read about him) he got golden egg from his dad that he used to start his various businesses. His ethics/morality is as far as I can judge less then admirable. Medical or healthcare practices in the USA has always been an extortion racket under both parties. I do think that the election of 2020 was stolen by the Democrats with the help of certain agencies’ leaders.

James Howard Kunstler's take:

It would be ungentlemanly to bang on the particulars of Kamala Harris’s CNN interview performance, so I’ll proceed. The nocturne was 18-minutes long, all that survived from the 41-minutes CNN actually recorded, so you might wonder a little about the notes not played. The leitmotif throughout was “my values have not changed,” meaning, disregard any dissonance you might detect in the velvet honk of my voice. Mind the significance of the passage of time, not the music, Altogether, as nocturnes should, it had a soporific effect.

And now candidate Kamala Harris will go back to hiding on her campaign bus, which makes a different statement than, say, hiding in the basement a la “Joe Biden,” 2020. It’s the difference between going nowhere fast and going nowhere at all — though both concepts apply to the condition of the USA during the four years of “Joe Biden” (loved and revered by his comrades in the Party of Chaos, who threw the president under the very bus Kamala is hiding in).

You’re probably wondering: how Mr. Trump will play this? He’d best be polite about it and assume that the voters can see and understand the obvious: that the Democrats have put up an especially inadequate candidate who can’t explain away the fiascos of the past four years. He doesn’t have to rub in so hard that it seems cruel. His own policy intentions are a quite clear alternative to four years of hoaxes, pranks, trips, gaslighting, and grift. Installing Ms. Harris without any input or votes from the party rank-and-file was about as desperate an affront to “our democracy” as anyone could imagine, like something straight out of the old Soviet politburo, picking an Andropov or a Chernenko. Mr. Trump should remind audiences of this at every opportunity if the Democrats keep yapping about “our democracy,” which seems to be all they’ve got."

The US is going through an epochal political revolution.

Akin to when the Whigs collapsed forming the Republican Party in 1854.

With RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard joining MAGA, a new Party is forming, let's call it the Unity Party.💪💪

A Party that dumps the raucous debilitating left-right divide in the US.

And incorporates the best of both the left and the right. With an anti-war platform. And giving citizens their voice back.

As explained in the linked Dr. Turley's video.

With the Democrat Party's gangster moves, and Kamala Harris finally after 40-days being forced to have a live interview, exposing herself as the empty suit nit wit she is, the Democrat Party is toast. The American people are not that gullible.

TRUMP/VANCE/RFK Jr/GABBARD 2024

I call it the Unity Party -> is going to win in a landslide on November the 6th.

Too big to rig!

Repeating Reagan's absolute routing of Mondial in 1984.

Just to clarify Harris' views on fracking:

1. In 2019 she absolutely wanted to ban fracking,

2. In 2024 she is not in favor of banning fracking,

3. According to her interview, her views (on fracking) have not changed.

Someday some college class will use this interview in their coursework on logic.

I also understand that Harris stated that her views have not changed. Apparently only the false sales pitches have. Perhaps the reason Harris seems so confused about policy is that she derives them from Das Kapital, that foundational work for so much of the San Francisco area political class.

Didn't watch the interview....why waste my time.

Simply re(a)d:

If you don't know me by now *oh we know them by now*

You will never, never, never know me, ooh-ooh-ooh *they know us but ignore us*

All the things that we've been through *All the things the people of Palestine are going through*

If I were a propressive in the Democratic party I'd either be a hypocrite just mouthing words that will never be heard (by the party) and heard by their constituents to tag them along with words but never action).

or if they are sincerely progressive: what the hell are they doing in the DEMOCRAT PARTY.

They shoulld join a 3rd, left of center, party cuase the Dems have drifted so far right Harris has stated she will ask some Repuglicans to join her cabinent....What about the Progressives in your party fascist Harris....genocide Harris....war mongering Harris...let's kill some more babies and children and woman folk Harris. YOU CAN HAVE HER YOU DEMOCRATS VOTING ON THE DEM TICKET IN NOV... *where is you conscience progressive dems* you be anti progressives in my book

I'm voting Green people planet peace

Sounds like a lot of nothing signifying nothing. It also sounds like both of them don't hesitate to lie to the people and won't hesitate to lie to the people if they are elected. It is interesting that the interview was over 40 minutes and they edited it down to, what, the most exciting 18 minutes? Relatively exciting that is. Note that Dana Bash's first husband was chief of staff for the CIA and later became chief of staff for the DOD under Obama. And he was also a signer to the letter of CIA-connected officials who falsely claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. Lies upon lies upon lies. And illustrating that the line between CNN and the Democratic Party is a very dotted one. Compared to the 336 million population, our ruling class is a relatively small group of policymakers. I'm guessing less than 10000 anyway.

... having enough, not doing this anymore... not to be selecting either one of these 'choices'... time to move away
